• Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your email address, display name, and username. If you sign in via Google or Apple, we receive your name and email from the provider.
• Usage Data: We collect data about your use of the App, including Dhikr counts, Athkar session progress, Quran reading history, quiz scores, XP points, and leaderboard rankings.
• Location Data: If you use prayer time or Qibla features, the App requests access to your device's GPS location. Location data is processed locally on your device for prayer time calculation and is not stored on our servers.
• Device Information: We may collect device-specific information such as operating system version, device model, and app version for diagnostics and compatibility purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Qeyam App and its features.
• Track and display your Dhikr activity, Athkar progress, and leaderboard rankings.
• Calculate accurate prayer times and Qibla direction based on your location.
• Cache Quran text locally on your device for offline reading.
• Improve our services, fix bugs, and enhance user experience.

3. Permissions & Device Access

• Location Access: Used to calculate prayer times and Qibla direction. Your location is processed on-device and is not transmitted to our servers.
• Internet Access: Required to sync your data, fetch Quran text, and connect to leaderboards. The App works with limited functionality offline.
• Local Storage: The App stores cached Quran data, preferences, and bookmarks locally on your device.

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase Authentication by Google (for secure account sign-in via email, Google, or Apple)
• Firebase Cloud Firestore by Google (for storing user data, scores, and activity)
• Al Quran Cloud API (for fetching Quran text and translations — no personal data is sent)
• Google Sign-In and Apple Sign-In (as optional authentication providers)

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at islamic1app@gmail.com. Cached data stored locally on your device can be cleared by uninstalling the App.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS) and Firebase's built-in security infrastructure. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

Qeyam is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected within the App with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
